Sorrows Cover (Artist's Alternate)

I was given some strong guidelines on the image but was given license to interpret. The design really came out to my satisfaction and has such a rich nighttime feel. The main characters, a Vampire and a werewolf-like creature known as "Rael-Shaa" were the focus here. The author wanted to go forward without the blood based on storyline reasons but I truly loved the strong contrast it provided and wanted to post my alternate version.
